Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the DailyPath application handles information entered by users.
DailyPath is a habit tracker designed to help users create habits, track daily progress, build routines, view statistics, and manage reminders. The application is designed to work locally on your device. DailyPath does not require an account, does not upload your habit data to a server, and does not sell, share, or transfer your personal information to third parties.
1. Data entered by the user
DailyPath allows users to enter habit-related information in order to create, manage, and track personal routines. This may include:
- habit names,
- habit descriptions,
- habit categories,
- selected habit icons or emoji,
- selected accent colors,
- habit type, such as check-off, counter, or timer habits,
- daily targets or progress goals,
- habit schedules and selected days of the week,
- daily habit completion logs,
- streaks, progress history, and statistics generated from habit logs,
- reminder settings and reminder time,
- selected language, theme, and local app preferences.
This information is processed locally on the user’s device and is used only to provide the features of the application.
2. Local storage
DailyPath may store information locally on the user’s device so that the app can remember created habits, progress history, schedules, reminders, selected language, theme, and other preferences.
This data is stored locally within the application storage on the device. It is not uploaded to any external server by DailyPath.
3. Habit and productivity information
DailyPath processes habit and productivity-related information such as habit names, categories, schedules, completion history, streaks, and progress statistics. These values are used only to display progress, help users review consistency, and support habit tracking inside the application.
DailyPath is intended for personal organization, productivity, and habit tracking purposes. It does not provide medical advice, psychological advice, professional coaching, diagnosis, treatment, or professional health recommendations.
Any statistics, streaks, completion rates, or insights shown in the application are generated from user-entered habit data and should be treated as informational only.
4. Data collection and sharing
DailyPath does not collect personal data from users on our servers. The application does not transmit user-entered habit data, progress logs, reminders, or settings to us.
The application does not:
- create user accounts,
- upload habit data to external servers,
- share user data with third parties,
- sell user data,
- track users across apps or websites,
- use advertising networks,
- use third-party analytics services.
5. Ads, analytics, and third-party services
DailyPath does not display ads and does not use third-party analytics tools. The app does not include third-party advertising SDKs or user tracking systems.
DailyPath is designed as a local-first application. Habit data and progress information remain on the user’s device unless the user independently chooses to copy, export, back up, or share information outside the app.
6. App permissions
DailyPath requests only permissions that are necessary for app functionality.
If the user enables reminders, the app may request notification permission in order to show local reminders on the device. These notifications are generated locally and are used only for reminders selected by the user.
The application does not require access to:
- contacts,
- camera,
- microphone,
- precise location,
- photos or media files,
- phone calls or messages.
7. Internet connection
DailyPath does not require an internet connection for its core features. Creating habits, tracking progress, viewing statistics, managing reminders, changing theme, and changing language are handled locally on the device.
If future versions of DailyPath introduce optional online features, such as cloud sync, accounts, backups, or subscriptions, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe those features before they are used.
8. Data export
DailyPath may include an export feature that allows the user to generate a text export of habits and progress logs. This export is generated inside the app and shown to the user.
The user may choose to copy or save exported information. Once copied, saved, or shared outside the application, the user is responsible for how that exported data is stored or used.
9. Data control and deletion
Users can create, edit, archive, restore, or delete habits inside the application where such options are available.
Users can reset app data inside DailyPath if the reset option is available. Users can also delete locally stored app data by uninstalling the application or clearing the application data through the device system settings.
Removing the app or clearing app data may delete locally stored habits, progress logs, reminders, settings, language preferences, theme preferences, and other local data from the device.
10. Data security
Since DailyPath stores user-entered data locally on the device and does not transmit it to external servers, the risk of online interception is minimized.
Users are responsible for keeping their own device secure, for example by using a screen lock, device encryption, and system security updates.
11. Children’s privacy
DailyPath is not specifically directed to children. The application does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child has entered information into the app, they can remove it by deleting the app data or uninstalling the application from the device.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the application, legal requirements, or privacy practices. Any updated version will be published with a new “Last updated” date.
