BuyNote is a simple shopping list application designed to work locally on the user's device.
1. Personal data
BuyNote does not require users to create an account, register, log in, provide an email address, phone number, name, or any other personal information.
The developer of BuyNote does not intentionally collect, receive, store, sell, or share personal data entered by users in the application.
2. Shopping list data
BuyNote allows users to create a shopping list containing information such as:
- product names,
- product quantities,
- information about whether a product has been marked as purchased.
This information is stored locally on the user's device.
BuyNote does not intentionally send shopping list content to the developer, an external server, or a database operated by the developer.
The developer does not have access to the shopping list or products created by the user.
3. Local storage
BuyNote stores application data locally on the device so that the shopping list remains available after the application is closed and reopened.
Locally stored information may include:
- product names,
- product quantities,
- purchased / not purchased status.
This data is used only to provide the application's shopping list functionality.
4. Device and system backups
Depending on the operating system, device configuration, and the user's backup settings, Android, iOS, Google, Apple, or another device platform provider may independently back up application data.
Such backups are managed by the device operating system or platform provider and are not controlled or accessed by the developer of BuyNote.
5. Advertising
BuyNote currently does not display advertisements.
The application does not currently use advertising networks or advertising identifiers.
6. Analytics and tracking
BuyNote does not currently use analytics, user tracking, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics services.
The developer does not use BuyNote to monitor which products users add to their shopping lists or how users use individual shopping lists.
7. Internet connection
An internet connection is not required for the core shopping list functionality of BuyNote.
Products can be added, marked as purchased, removed, saved, and loaded locally on the user's device.
BuyNote does not intentionally transmit shopping list content to servers operated by the developer.
8. App permissions
BuyNote is designed to operate without access to sensitive device permissions that are not required for its shopping list functionality.
The application does not require access to:
- camera,
- microphone,
- contacts,
- precise or approximate location,
- SMS or other messages,
- call logs,
- calendar,
- photos or media library.
9. Sharing information with third parties
The developer does not sell or share shopping list information with third parties.
Product names, quantities, and purchase status are stored locally and are not intentionally transmitted by BuyNote to third-party services.
10. Data deletion
Users can remove individual products directly inside BuyNote.
The application also provides options to remove purchased products or clear the entire shopping list.
Users may also remove locally stored application data by clearing the application's data through their device settings or by uninstalling the application.
Please note that operating system or cloud backup services may maintain backups according to the user's device and account settings.
11. Data security
BuyNote minimizes the amount of information processed by keeping shopping list data locally on the user's device and not maintaining a developer-operated database containing shopping list information.
Users are encouraged to protect access to their device using available security features such as a PIN, password, fingerprint, face recognition, or screen lock.
12. Children's privacy
BuyNote is a general-purpose shopping list application and is not specifically directed at children.
The application does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Third-party platforms
BuyNote may be distributed through third-party application stores such as Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Those platforms may independently process information related to application downloads, purchases, device information, diagnostics, or store usage according to their own privacy policies.
Such processing is performed by the respective platform provider and is separate from the data processing performed by BuyNote.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the functionality of BuyNote changes or if new features affecting data processing are introduced.
The latest version of this Privacy Policy will be published on this page together with the date of the latest update.
