BillMind is a personal finance and budgeting application designed to help users manage income, expenses, payment reminders, savings goals, and personal budget planning.
1. What data does BillMind process?
BillMind does not require users to create an account, log in, or provide information such as a name, email address, phone number, home address, contacts, or precise location.
The application may process financial information entered directly by the user in order to provide its core functionality.
This may include:
- income names, amounts, dates, and recurrence settings,
- expense names, amounts, categories, due dates, and recurrence settings,
- payment status information,
- savings goal names, target amounts, saved amounts, and planned contributions,
- savings goal contributions,
- budget settings such as a safety buffer,
- selected currency,
- notification reminder preferences,
- selected application theme and language,
- optional notes entered by the user.
This information is used only to provide budgeting, statistics, reminders, forecasts, and savings-goal functionality inside the application.
2. Local storage
Financial information entered into BillMind is stored locally on the user’s device. The application uses local storage and a local database to remember the user’s data and settings.
In the current version of BillMind, financial records are not uploaded to a BillMind server and are not automatically transmitted to the developer.
If the user removes the application or clears its application data, locally stored information may be permanently deleted, depending on the operating system and device settings.
3. Income, expenses, and savings goals
BillMind allows users to manually enter information about income, expenses, recurring payments, and savings goals. These details are used to calculate budget summaries, available funds, savings progress, and estimated goal completion times.
BillMind does not connect to the user’s bank account and does not automatically download bank transactions, payment card details, or account balances.
4. Payment reminders and notifications
BillMind may use local device notifications to remind users about upcoming payments. The application may request permission to display notifications.
Reminder settings, such as the number of days before a due date and the preferred notification time, are stored locally on the device.
BillMind does not use notification content to create advertising profiles or track users.
5. Statistics and forecasts
BillMind may calculate statistics, summaries, savings forecasts, and budget estimates using the financial information entered by the user.
These calculations are intended only to help the user organize personal finances. They are not financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice.
6. Ads, analytics, and tracking
The current version of BillMind:
- does not use third-party analytics tools,
- does not use third-party tracking services,
- does not create advertising profiles,
- does not sell user data.
If advertising, analytics, cloud synchronization, account features, or other third-party services are introduced in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
7. App permissions
BillMind may request permission to display notifications in order to provide payment reminders.
The application does not require access to unrelated sensitive device features such as:
- camera,
- microphone,
- precise location,
- contacts,
- messages,
- photos or media library,
- health data.
If a future version introduces features requiring additional permissions, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
8. Internet connection
BillMind is designed so that its core budgeting functionality can operate without sending the user’s financial records to a BillMind server.
If the application is distributed through an app store, the store provider may process technical, diagnostic, purchase-related, device, or account information according to its own privacy policy. BillMind does not control data processing performed independently by the app store provider.
9. Sharing data with third parties
BillMind does not automatically share income, expenses, savings goals, payment status, notes, or budget settings with third parties.
If the user manually shares screenshots, exported information, or other content outside the application, that action is initiated and controlled by the user.
10. Security
Because BillMind stores financial records locally on the user’s device and does not transmit them to a BillMind server in the current version, exposure through external server storage is limited.
Users are responsible for protecting access to their own device, including using available device security features such as a screen lock, PIN, password, or biometric protection.
11. Children’s privacy
BillMind is a personal finance application and is not specifically directed at children. The application does not require users to provide identifying information such as name, email address, school name, precise location, or contact details.
12. Financial disclaimer
BillMind is intended for personal budgeting, organization, reminders, and savings planning. Any calculations, projections, estimated dates, statistics, or summaries shown in the application are informational only.
BillMind does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, credit, or legal advice, and it does not guarantee any financial outcome.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when BillMind changes or new features are introduced. Any updated version should include a revised date at the top of this page.
Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy from time to time to stay informed about how privacy is protected in BillMind.
